I think you may have overlooked the question by Madmox who asked where in the US it was found. Any information you can give will help the folks here give you a correct ID. I have no idea what it is.

I only know as much of its origin as I found it in. A demolished stone retaining wall for a home garden on the border of Mt. Vernon and Yonkers, Ny. The owner of that yard has long since passed and there's no way for me to find out how it came to be in that wall...
