In 1980, the local high for Ag reached $49.45/oz and the national average home price was $47,200. That would be $1,320 in face of 90% junk. I bet a lot of folks could have bought homes with their CRH hoards.

Condos in Vegas are going for around $30K these days. With Ag @ roughly $41/oz now all it would take is around 732 ozs. So if you've accumulated two solid boxes of 90% halves, you could buy a one-bedroom Vegas condo.

interesting way to think of this, though I personally would not want to live in a big city... i'll invest in gold

From what I've been told, Real Estate still has a ways to drop, while Silver will probably go up over time.
