New Land Produces Some Goods...

[CRUSADER]

Yesterday we drove around alot & found a small patch of failed oilseed rape & did a quick 1 hour hunt, not much but a Medieval Cauldron Foot.
Today we did 2 hours on a Celtic Site on the hill, not much again, just a Roman Nail & a nice Roman Domed Mount.
We then got a call from Land-mag (Cheers) to say the new land was available, so after lunch we did 3 hours on this wintered stubble.
Finally some land worth gridding, there was lots of lead all over;

2 Roman Coins
Some good Buckles
Tudor Strapend
Roman Bronze & silver plated Key handle?
Bronze Age Fragment
Saxon Strapend

Looks like your initial hunt there was quite productive, and definitely enough to bring you back for a closer and more thorough look. My favorites are those two 17th century trapezoidal buckles.

Good question. I don't yet but as like most things when it grows big enough I may get an album. At the moment they are sorted (somewhat) & bunched together in tiny drawers.
