The first time I’ve ever been excited for a bottle cap. Clearly it has a visor which is aesthetic and servers a practical purpose eliminating the need for a bottle opener. I wonder what it came from. Those bullets look ancient. The horse shoe has cleats and would be used in the snow and ice. Also I found most of the remaining nails that belong to it all with in inches from the shoe.

Could the bottle cap also be represented as a baseball cap. Maybe a baseball promotion for beer or soda. Congrats on the great hunt. BTW that bottle cap is neat!!!

That’s what I am thinking about the cap too. I can not find anything else like it online. It was in the days before screw off. That must of been very convenient not to need a bottle opener.

Interesting finds GREAT PICTURES 11! The horse shoe looks like for a Big Draft horse , The cleats on the shoe were used in the fields for better traction when pulling farm equipment

Nice!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Ha ha ha I've dug thousands of bottle caps but none like that, I'm impressed !! congratulations good job !
Obviously others were able to find pictures online, but it seems like they were a promo of some kind because they did not continue for long.

"Coke had a huge bottle cap promotion from 1964 to 1966. You would either get a NFL or AFL All Star cap or a cap from the team in your region."
