New Member here from east Texas

Hello to all,
Just got into detecting after my wife said she wanted a metal detector for a prezzie. Neither of us has had any experience in this hobby. Bart and Evan at Big Boys Hobbies helped me along and pointed me in the direction of the AT Pro, which I was already leaning towards after much research, mostly brousing this forum. Bart not only had the best price and free shipping but was very helpful with my many questions! I have also found the members here to be very helpful and friendly after initially posting in a Garrett thread. Very much looking forward to getting involved in this hooby which will go right along with our other hobby we are very involved in, amateur Astronomy. Now our days AND nights will be very busy! Thanks to all,
