The century is always one higher than the first 2 digits of the date because the first century only had 2 digit numbers... making the 100's the second century.Very nice finds [ no offense] would the correct term be the 17th century ,as the 1900s were considred the 20th century ....just wondrring as I said, I mean no offense to the OP ..P.S. Items are in great cond. too ..Davers
