New "Old" Foundation & Privy pit.

Got a call from a friend in Ma.
tells me he's found a foundation out in the woods.
jump in the truck, drive 90 miles, Hike 3 miles to the top of a hill.
Sure enough, fieldstone & concrete foundation, about 20 X 20, no sign of a chimney, only time for a 20 minute search. Boy it's getting dark early.
found a Warwick plated spoon, around 1901, & a 71 canada cent.
privy pit nearby, 1 shovel down yeilded a broken bottle. had to go :'(
The foundation looks early 20th century to me, anyone got advise as to whether I should go back to this spot? Thanks & HH,

looks like a great place if your'e already visiting your buddy and you feel like a bit of exercise, but I wouldn't make a special trip for that 1945 quarter that's hiding in the side yard.

Thanks for your reply, It doesn't look very old, does it?

Re: New "Old" Foundation & Privy pit.

Looks like you have a 20th century hunting camp there.

Yeah,I'd go back with a camera and a leaf rake and of course your MD.

Re: New "Old" Foundation & Privy pit.

Go back and pick me up on the way.
The foundation looks good, but deep in the woods it must be old
