Found a new park in town and hit it for a few hours before my fingers went numb. Dug up a big pile of clad, mostly 4-6 inches deep (i.e.; somebody's already been here) and a few other things, including this ugly titanium ring. Was just about to call it quits because I couldn't feel my fingers anymore, when Bingo! Barely under the surface. Marked 925 and weighs in at .84oz. (clad dime for size reference)
I don't know how long this silver streak can last, but I'm hoping it'll give way to a gold streak! (I know, just being greedy now
)
Btw, the vdi on the Simplex was all over the place 32-97!
