New Site, was slim, Strange early button

Mainly only posting because of the button. We had success today in that we found a small early site, but it went quiet very fast.

Looks like that button was sliced very closely with the plow so it may have lost some of it's detail due to the cut.
Kind of a cool button though. Seems like it will be a great "What's It?" for a while. Hope I get to read the exciting conclusion.

I keep missing your post for a day... looks like a bird to me also.. first thing to my mind was a french lottery button that is shown in Don T's book and similar to Jamie's button that he found a few years back..

Not turret, just single loop, but is something a little different than we're used to seeing here.

The head on that "stick figure" reminds me of a little gold item that was on banner awhile back.
