It has been a while since I have detected and even longer since I posted a video on Youtube but recently I had an invitation to dig and the timing was right so I took him up on it. I cannot even start to explain how excited I was just to turn on the MXT but when I made it to the property immediately I started getting signals. I dug so much that I had to empty my pack three different times. My hunting partner, Jeremy Haygood, dug a nice Williams Cleaner and then I got a button back. I started looking for the front when I got a decent signal and dug down and saw the corner of the buckle. I wasn't sure what it was initially until I pulled it from the hole. My heart stopped when I saw what it was. What I saw was the first buckle I had ever dug, a GA Frame Buckle....the icing on the cake is that it is a CS buckle!!!!! Its bent a but its still a CS buckle...I am happy with it either way!!!
I also did a bit of research when I got home on the small tomahawk and found that they were issued to soldiers during the Revolutionary War...what do you guys think about the tomahawk, could it be one that was issued during the revolution and one of the soldier's sons or grandsons picked it up and carried it into battle during the CW
