new to metal detecting - detected back yard

i am new to metal detecting. detected my back yard from some coins. which is better than when i went to my local park and found nothing but bottle caps. they are all newish coins tho.




also found 4 matchbox cars. didnt take pics of them tho






im from Connecticut. just started like i said. hopefully ill find some nice stuff eventually. i also mostly coin roll hunt.

Nice start, all good advice given, the only thing I would add is to try to hook up with a seasoned detectorist that will work with
you and shorten the learning curve
