Hey guys and girls!

I am a new Metal Detector operator! I got three days under my belt before I screwed my knee up hiking on the Appalachian Trail. Nothing to do with metal detecting but still enough to cut me off from doing what I want to do this week end. Trying to get my daughter or wife to go with me a dig but I don't know if that will pan out. Maybe Memorial Day weekend.

You didn't mention your state (or country) - but you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forums: Select Your Area.... and selecting your state for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Knee is getting better so I went outside in front of our house because I can't stand not playing with a new toy! Found my first dime without even bending my knee. I can't wait to get up to speed and start hunting some sites other than my house. Been watching Gravediggermax's videos today. I need to get hooked up with those guys.
