New Year's Eve Find

What a way to end a great year of collecting! I found this on New Year's Eve at a site that has produced Big Sandys, Daltons, Bird Points, Celts, etc. Never expected to find something like this. It's a perfect Quad. Super thin and finely made. Probably the best point I've ever found. So far...

Yep that's a great find any day !!!!!

Great One! Welcome to the forum too!

Great find! Sure it's not a Dalton?

It's a fine point and it does have a Dalton look, with Quad ears. WELCOME to Tnet:hello:

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've been poking around here for a while and finally decided to join up and make a contribution.

I guess it could be a Dalton but it's very wide compared to it's length, and very thin. Also, it is heavily ground on the base, ears, and almost half way up the sides. I will take some measurements and post some more pics over the weekend and hopefully get some more thoughts on whether it's a Quad or a Dalton.

Welcome aboard! Hope to see more of your finds, rock

Welcome to T-net. Very nice looking quad. I think you have good knowledge at what you are holding. Glad you joined and look forward to your post and contributions.

Welcome to the site and very nice find. I think Quad is the right description. Very cool.
