What are your New Year's Resolutions?

To lose weight?
To stop smoking?
To metal detect more often?

My resolution is to be more compassionate and try to be a positive
influence in someones's life at least once a day.

Try to keep in touch with some close friends either by calling or writing (Texting sucks) finish that SS in my garage (sitting 6 years) and hide more bread in the Caymans

Yep I did basic training when I was a kid.....I always got the dirty jobs....lol.

There was a film called "The Dirty Dozen" based on a true life unit during WW11...they put together a top notch unit of Canadian soldiers and a bunch of US misfits and sent them on suicide type missions that no one else wanted....kind of like Mission Impossible......I enjoy the abuse....lol.

Good resolutions......if it were me though on the point of compassion and empathy......I'd add a proviso towards those who are intellectually challenged....nudge...nudge....wink...wink...lol.

Walker , and others . I think you are referring to the one that starred Cliff Robertson and a group of others that I can't remember . Can't remember the title either . Richard Jaekel had a role in both films .

Spot on.....I wracked my brain and it turns out that their nickname was "The Devil's Brigade"....one of my friends dad was in it and I believe they had something like a 75% casualty rate....he refused to talk about....I guess it was just to painful for him.
