Hey all.. I'm thinking about getting into this hobby rather passively. Currently I like to surf fish and I figured before and after the bite is on (before and after low tide) I might as well swing a detector around and see what kinda stuff peeps have lost in the water and up in the dry sand. I had a Tesero back in AZ but it was stolen from my brothers cabin. Now I'm looking into a rig around $500 max to hit the wet salt sand and even get out to undisturbed public land for revolutionary / civil war relics.
My family already think I'm nerding out but who cares. I'm semi retired..
