Newbie just purchased a Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II

OK, I know it's an entry level detector, I'm just new to the hobby, didn't want to invest alot in a metal detector to begin, so how good or bad was my choice?

HI, This is coin finder, The bounty hunter is a good detector I Had one for a long time, it has found a lot of stuff like coins some new and some old allso some rings.I don't know how much you payed for the one you have. The ace 250 is allso a great machine about $ 200. give or less or The whites New coinhunter $ 180.00 or less. it will pay for it self in no time. aka Joe and Welcome to Treasurenet.

It is a good machine. I still have one for a back up machine and I also got the 3 in coil for real trashy areas. You will d great with it....Matt

 

[Iron Patch]

I used one for a couple hours many years ago and it did fine. I would have no problem finding lots of targets with it assuming I am at a decent site. (which is more important)

Does it beep when you wave a coin over the coil?
