Newbie Polk County FL area

[ThePresidentialTourist]

I am just started metal detecting and I was wondering if anybody has any advice for me? Do you know any good areas in Polk County FL. My metal detector is not the best its a old one I got when I was young. I plan on getting the Garrett Ace 250 but that will have to wait for now. Thank you very much.

Yes:

1) Don't bet on race horses.

2) Don't stick your fingers in light sockets.

3) Don't buy rolex watches from strange men in trenchcoats standing on street corners.

Welcome to T'net !

You could try the Strawberry Festival fairgrounds in Plant City. Probably lots of coins and stuff lost there over the years.
