Find the old places, then you are off to the races. They really are everywhere. Typically, the older the places, the better the finds.

Not sure which side of the States you are, but I prefer ploughed fields. You need to do lots of Historical research, good sites don't just fall into your lap.

Welcome to T Net! Spend some time in your library and look through old newspapers for notices of gatherings outside when the dimes, quarters and half dollar were 90% Silver (pre-1965)!
