Newbies First !

After digging a pint jar full of clad with a few wheats I finally got my first silver! I had hit this place five or six times and had dug over a hundred coins with no silver and had about given up on it. With some solid advice from members of this forum about slowing down and digging whispers it finally happened. And big silver at that!I know its just a walker but a first is a first! Thanks guys.

Thanks guys. The just a walker comment comes from being new to the hobbie and seeing the amazing finds you guys post. The best thing about the find is it came from my Grandfathers farm who died a few years ago . He always sat in a chair about ten ft from where the coin was dug and I just know he was the one who dropped it.
