Newport RI tomorrow!

So I am taking the day off tomorrow and am bringing the family down to Newport. We are thinking of hitting Second beach and I will be bringing the new Excalibur ii. Will anyone give me a hard time for detecting? and if anyone has any tips for my first time hitting the water I would love to hear them. I cant wait!

Being it's the start of beach season and going to hot and humid for a second day in a row, I imagine it going to be crowded as hell. I doubt many will be in the water though as the temperature is only in the mid fifties right now. HH!!

great beach ive been there hunted it but it was late in the day no one really bothered us then so hopefully ull have a great time and pull out some nice finds

Its a good detector I have a couple detectors & thats one of my first & learned alot from it, good luck post some pics

Though I cant give u any info on the minelab ive never uses one besides the prism im running an Atpro & a whites v3i so if u have questions on those i mayb able to help as of spots nothing in general just where ever I happen to be in that área thats not posted
