nice 1857 half dime!

Spent about 4 1/2 hours in Petersburg this morning with a couple buddies and the pickings were a bit slim. Did manage to find this nice 1857 half dime though. Hope you all had better luck! thanks for looking and hh!

Funny, I do collect coins; but i'm not a super serious , investing thousands.

but ,I always have done things a little diff, from the "Norm"

I do too,mostly just what I find.Of course a hole affects the condition value,but in my opinion, bumps up the historic value.

I agree, someone put that hole in there as a way to keep from losing it perhaps. If only it could talk!
