Nice Arrow Head, Fatty Indian Head, TWO 2-Cent Pieces... best long-weekend ever.

[mack0238]

Starting last Saturday until today (Tuesday), after lots of permission work, I happened to eyeball a REALLY cool flint spear/arrowhead, found a holed fatty, a '28 Merc in great shape, a wartime penny, and just today... TWO 2-Cent Pieces in 2hrs of detecting after work! Such a wonderful hobby. All found in SE Minnesota. Lots of homework and permission pays off. Happy hunting all.

Two Two centers in the same hunt. Don't see that posted every day. The odds of both of those 2 centers being non-1864 is about 1 in a million... (I'm not very good at math though. )...

Love those 2 cent pieces! And maybe a goat bell or off a harness.
Is the ground completely thawed?

[mack0238]

Yeah, BagLady, the ground IS thawed... and I have never found a 2-center.. so two is amazing. Even up here in MN... vs. Mississippi, we still find old stuff! Happy Spring!!

[jewelerguy]

[joeyo]

Now that was a good hunt! Still looking for a place like that.

[scruggs]

What a haul...just beautiful finds you made!!!

[Scrappy]

Great looking finds. A two-center somehow eludes me. The holed Indian is a neat find as well

[Trezurehunter]

Thats one great batch of finds. I still get excited every time I dig a 2 Cent Piece. They are a great looking coin.

[Calabash Digger]

cool finds!

[trapperart]

Congrats on some very nice finds, I really think the 2 cent coins are a pretty design

[Captain Caveman]

Congratz! Those are some great finds! I love the point but love the 2 Cent pieces even more! Two in one day is outstanding! It's still on my bucket list.

[Carolina Tom]

Really nice set of finds. Double two centers... wow. Congrats.

[Steve in PA]

Good all around hunt, always nice to eye ball a point. Two 2-centers in one hunt is unusual, but I once dug them on back to back signals which I though was pretty cool.

[CMDiamonddawg]

How about that ! Unusual indeed .
Well Done on the twin 2's and the point is a nice find too ...
