Found this in an old tacklebox looks to perfect to be real any thoughts

Its hard to say with out finding it in the ground your-self but from the pics the flaking looks right. Great find and you didn't even have to get muddy! Lol. Maybe in the dove-tail family.
 
Lol at get muddy would of been more thrilling of a find it is almost 4 inches long and almost 1.5 inches wide so could it be a spear point instead of arrowhead yes I agree on dovetail thanks everyone
 
I need better and clearer pictures to say for sure if it's good or not but I don't see any obvious red flags in those pics. It does look to be an Early Archaic piece and probably from the Dovetail family, but it's not a "Spearpoint" per se. Those were used as Knives primarily and most became beveled from resharpening over the years of use.
 
How sharp are the edges, sometimes a newly knapped point will be real sharp on the edge, they have not been exposed to weather and other elements. There are ways to fake the elements tho.???
 
Its pretty sharp just never seen any this perfect makes me think fake
