nice day for a sunday hunt

it was a beautie of a morning to hunt temps were about 70 an partly cloudy

the wife wanted to go today so we left about 7:30 to one of our favorite spots ! they had the arts and crafts fair there a couple weeks ago and lots of people went to see it

alot of land to cover so we cant get it all in one day for sure but did get in about 3 hours, no rings today but i did find some kind of a hot wheels shopping cart car and a crisp one dollor bill that was in my way while detecting so i picked it up ::)

the wife found a watch and of course we got about $3.63 in clad , just missed silver by a year on a quarter and 2 dimes they were 1965 :'(

and we dug lots of trash thats not in the pics :icon_king:

all in all it was a fun day till we got hungry an headed for home :thumbsup:

been lots of rings and old coins come from there, but i have only found one silver ring there and the wifes wearing it :icon_scratch:

i know there got to be some gold rings there and maybe one day i'll find one there :thumbsup:

thanks Jack(IN) we sure did ! after the hour i spent in the 95 degree heat yesterday it was a great day

Nice going weasel....I spent pretty much of the day today in the heat,at least there was a little breeze to help me out.Congrat's on the Green and the clad,It all add's up Buddy :thumbsup:

Great going there Weasle... looks like a great place to indulge in this hobby of metal detecting.. which brings to mind.. how exactly did you find that origami dollar bill with the detector? <grin> Have Fun!
