Nice Day With Some Cool Relics! Eagle Buttons!!

[FoxHound0985]

Hello all, this would be my 5th time out with my new Whites Classic 5 and it is still finding more and more at my "Hunted-out" sites that my old detector left behind. To start out with I got a couple more nice Civil War Eagle buttons, a flat "Coin" button, and a really cool hand carved lead pencil at the first site that I hit. A short walk from there leads me to another nice site at which I found a neat little thimble and yet another short walk leads me to my final site of the day. There I found the large brass object, harmonica reed, the interesting ring looking thing, a .22 short cartridge, a marble, and a few other unidentified items that werent really interesting. You know, the usual junk . The first picture is of the regular Eagle Button right out of the ground and the second picture is of both buttons after being cleaned up. Anyway, thats my finds for today. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will be going back down there probably tomorrow to hunt the creek behind the site. I'm not sure if that is a good place, but its worth a try.
