The heat and humidity around here have been out of control but it was somewhat cool this morning so I went out for a few hours. Nice little variety from an older homesite. The match stick holder still had some wood matches is there. This is also my first shoe buckle with a design. Too bad it's broke. I think that's a keg spigot only because Steve in PA just posted one. Thanks for the id Steve. Thanks for looking

Looks like a VERY profitable site your working, keep at it, can't wait to see what else it gives up! Is this the famous half dime site? Happy hunting!

Not far from there. This is the machins mill kglll site

Love the shoe buckle. I haven't found an intact one yet... just pieces of them.

nice finds congrats HH

Nice group of finds. I like that match safe.

It's pretty common to find both shoe buckles and keg spigots broken. It can be tough to find a nice intact example of either. Same thing goes for pewter spoons. I have only found one complete pewter spoon in over 20 years of hunting colonial sites.

Your shoe buckle may be broken but it's a BEAUTY! :notworthy::sunny: And the match safe totally cool, especially nice it had matches left in it too! WOW! Andi

The match safe is sweet

Thanks everyone for the comments. If this rain lets up I'm going go back up there for a few hours today. Hopefully ill have something good to show. Who am I kidding I'm going whether its raining or not!
