When for a 2HR hunt at the "pounded park", hunted over and over by myself and other detectorists. This was the second hunt with my new XP DEUS and I was able to extract some more silver, 3 Mercury dimes, 1925 and two 1945's, and one 1941 Washington quarter.
The 1941 quarter which is very worn was part of what I would guess to be a 1960's coin spill for they were all together when I dug the hole. One of the pennies was stuck to the back note the dates, four of the pennies memorials with only one wheat. I'm sure it was common even in the early seventies to still carry silver coins in your change.
Penny dates where 1938, 1961, 1962, 1963 and 1963.
