Nice Sunday bank score

I had to go to Safeway which has a US Bank that surprisingly is open on Sunday, so I ask the teller for halves he says he only has two and there pretty old, Ill take them I say 1964 and 1967!

Congrats on your finds. Around here Pathmark stores have bank branches in them & they are also open on Sunday. Usually when I stop & ask, they never have any halfs. I hope this is a good omen for you for the rest of the month.

100% success is always nice - even if it's just 2 coins. Sure beats searchin' & dumpin' an entire skunk box (or more) for nothin'.

I got lucky myself Sat. with 3 40%'s out of $6 loose halves. I don't normally go to the bank on Sat. but this bank keeps getting loose silver halves and someone else is buying them too so I have to buy them as soon as the bank gets them so I don't miss out. The teller told me earlier this week last Sat. they had $53 in halves but someone else bought them. I just know I missed out on a lot of silver. I hate thinking about the nice scores that might have got away.
