Evening everyone. Bought 3 boxes of nickels yesterday. 1st box had 3 buffalos(1937,1935, and a nodate) and a proof 68-S. I was happy with the buffalo nickels but until now still haven't found a V nickel. Until now. I was driving home from work opening and glancing at the rolls and there it was, my 1st V-nickel. ;D It's a little beat up but i'll take it in any condition. The war nickel is from the same box, found 2 more in one roll from the same box since the picture was taken. Have half the box to go thru yet. The merc is a 1945 and was 1 of 2 silver dimes from 10 rolls of machine rolled dimes. Thanks for looking.MM2

Thanks Rich. The rest of the box had a foreign coin, a 1927 buffalo, and a slightly offstruck nickel.

how do u know if a '68-S is a proof, or are they all proofs?
This one has a mirror finish. Not all 68-S are proof though.

Really nice boxes! I especially like the offstruck nickel
Thanks, probably not worth much but I don't see too many like this. Just finished the 3rd box, it had one buffalo, can't make out the date.
