Hit a very old and very large park today. I havent hunted in a week and my left eye was starting to twitch a bit. This park was once a civil war outpost and I went there trying for some seated silver (no luck :P). Obviously it has been hunted before. Luckily whoever hunted it left me a bunch of corroded no date buffs, a very beat up v, a war nickel, an IH, and two bullets. The minie ball is unfired though it looks like it was bit. The ball has the marks from the ramrod. Just before sunset I thought I had another 8 inch clad qtr and got the surprise of the day...........barber half, UGLY! I'll take it though.......and will be back at 7 in the morning to dig the rest of those pesky Buffs that someone left for me.
