There have always been people who are too stupid to have money.

I can't feel sorry for anyone that falls for this garbage, in 1909 by postal mail, or 2016 via email.

Greed finally get's 'em.

He'd have been better off going to the archives in Seville Spain and looking up the insurance records of sunken treasure galleons off the Florida coast. A few dives and he could've got rich quick.
Heck, he might've just strolled along the beach around Vero bch and Sebastion and gathered those roundish oreo cookie-looking things.
There were metal detectors then but they weren't really portable. A French guy invented the metal detector in 1874.

I used to work with a guy with the same name...
Ironically, he was a scam artist.

Just last week, , I got a call from the IRS. I'm not sure what is wrong but I was told that I must call them right away. I didn't return the call because the IRS, never makes calls of this nature. I guess I'm in a lot of trouble, , lol

I received two calls today from the "IRS" informing me that they were suing me! I needed to call them right away to straighten it out! LOL!

P.S. I Googled the phone number and it was located in Tennessee. I reported them to the real IRS, so they should be shut down ASAP.

LOL I still have two Recorded Messages from a month or so ago.
they were on their way to raid me or something for tax evasion :laughing7:

I should have answered & said I'm locked & loaded come on by :tongue3:

Every time I google an unknown number on my phone
it sends me to a site called " 800notes.com/ "
& there are tons of complaints about these calls.
The scammers spoof the Numbers & there is no way to trace them.

at least that seems to be the consensus.

anyway, I no longer answer my Phone unless I know who is on the other end.
Or they leave a Message that I want to respond to.

it is also possible cell phones have a Chip that lets the scammers know the phone is active. if I don't use my Phone for a couple weeks the calls stop.
right after I start using my phone again like clockwork, the scammers start back up.
does not seem like coincidence.

Going back a ways I had a couple of Nigerians show up at my office in Manhattan offering me lots of work in their country. They wanted to pay for my flight and all cost to go with them. I had an electronic security company at the time. These guys were real sketchy. I turned their contact info over to the state department.

Well, all the IRS agents that call my house have an Indian accent! :icon_scratch:
I think my language, of how I feel about the IRS, is what prompts them to hang up. :laughing7:
