Wasn't going to post, but what the hey.

A return visit with ZDD. My first find was a good hit, coin type signal and it was at the right depth to be a coin, pin point and turn on the video cam. Pop out a half dollar sized Silver disk, all right !, wipe off some mud, turn over ahhh all green, just a big silver plated dandy.

Went on to get 4 coppers 2 were able to be IDed with the use of some coarse grit sand paper, they are 1837 lower canada bank token and an 1843 NS thistle. Which isn't a bad find, seems the earlier ones are MUCH more common, and this is probably the best example of this date I have.

See what tomorrow brings.

Sweet finds! I'm sure that silver plated button was a heart stopper when it came up.

Those are still nice finds well worth sharing. I know the rush you feel for a second when you see silver roundness in the dirt on an early site. I've rode that roller coaster a few times, it's a short ride - just up and down, but it's still a lot of fun!

Yeah I think a lot of us have been there and done that! lol
It's nitro moments that keep our energy and expectations up there and push us to keep on digging for the real thing
Once again nice finds

I'd take a couple of coppers like those from a hunt right about now, it sure beats a pin fired shot gun shell that I managed .

Good hunt, Rick! Any old copper makes the hunt.

The dragon, the saint and the thistle. It sounds like a fantasy book.

May your silver fantasy come true tomorrow!

I had a recent roller coaster like feeling when i thought i found my first gold... but it turned out be to costume jewellery

Had many nitro moments over the years with the same type buttons....keeps the hobby interesting for when you do pull out something sweet
