for the last week
Ive been working these LARGE piles of dirt/mud/clay/iron slag(street and sidewalk underlay fill)
they have been dumping them in a empty/vacant lot near the college
beginning of the week cop stopped by to give me the"watcha' doin here, looking for gold *snicker* :P ::)"
He ran my name
I'm clean as always "OK just be careful"
no need to drop any names this time ;D
few hours each day in the morning after work
today the slag pile they recently dumped was a pay off oddly enough
the signals are spotty and clipped due the the HIGH iron content of the slag and decomposing coal
lots of due dads bits and bobs :-X
3 bottles 8)
a clay pipe stem :-\
a marble :)
and an OLD style sterling ring with a blue stone (marked .925) ;D
what drew me to this signal it was high on the pile
and slammed the detector 3 times then went clippy
but my brain told me its a hot silver signal :o
my better judgement told me no way in all this slag crap :-\
tooting my own horn but i got some damn skills (even surprised me) ;D :D 8) :P
pic to follow later going to work shortly
