NM The hunt...

Tryen to get back into it. Man i wish i could find a good area to hunt here in the Rio Rancho, Albuquerque area. Somewhere with the possibility of finding relics or silver coins. Ive been stuck in local parks for years....Any advice?

Sounds like you need to hit up some land owners but I don’t know the best way to tell you to do that. The time I went in Oklahoma the ranch owner was a friend of the family. But while you consider it you can get some fry bread from the Indian Pueblo Kitchen. :love10:

Good idea girlwithwolf, yeah i definitely love me some fry bread. Im going to start hitting up more mountain areas i think thats my only chance on hitting old silver and stuff. Even though ive found many silver items in parks, mostly jewelry. And a few gold rings.... have you hunted many parks?

I’ve only been able to go metal detecting twice, that time in Oklahoma then here in Texas I went with a guy and his dad on some land they own near Springtown a couple of months ago. They shared their detectors with me and we were out there 3 hours freezing and found nothing.
