Found last week at site I got the early flat button. I think it's lead. Not sure what it could be and google lens doesn't really know much from the picture

Lead Stylus or Plummet remained in common use as writing and drawing tools until the 19th century.

19th Century: Plummets were still sold and used in America alongside early graphite pencils and quill pens well into the 1800s. They only truly became "extinct" as a general writing tool in the early 20th century

Looks like a pin of some sort. The two “pinches” on the side would keep it from going all the way through whatever it was supposed to insert into, and the holes at the top are where the handle or pull would have attached.

Seems a bit small for that. Most window weights I’ve seen were iron and the size of a foot-long chunk of broomstick.

I knew I had seen something like that before. I'm not saying this is what it is, but I have a screwdriver with an interchangeable "blade". The "pinched" part inserts into a split handle tube then a screw on collar clamp goes down over it. Pics:
