No deposit, no return

Slow night. Only thing of interest I could muster was this tag promising a reward to the finder.



Unfortunately no information concerning whom to return it to. That would've been a lot more interesting.
Not sure of the age of the tag but pretty certain by design and material it has seen more than a few decades.

I found a similar looking Tag a few years ago - it was for a Bank Safety Deposit Key return.

Found a similar tag a few years back on a hillside on the Cuyahoga River.
Used to be a little settlement called Irishtown Bend.
Mine actually had a name and address.
There was a Ody family that lived in the area way back when.

These tags were generic and sold blank for the purchaser to get their own inscription added. Very popular in the mid 20th Century for use as key fobs, including for vehicle keys.
