Some type of plate for a printing press?

[Roundness]

I have absolutely no idea. Good Luck. I'll be watching to see if anyone knows what it is.

Maybe a flattened bell of some kind. Weird combination of metals. Good Luck, Sub

Agree. Newspaper print plate. Maybe for an advert? I see an animal in it but would not have guessed 'dog'. Also, I think that is a hand in the center, not a foot. The hand is grasping an object...

[Rookster]

Don't know but a cool find.

I see the hand now. But I am sure it is a dog. Looks like foot below hand. how old ya think?

[Ripcon]

Yes. A printing press plate. I was in the printing business for nearly 30 years and have seen many examples. The oldest that I have seen are the wood print blocks. This may even pre-date that. Great find!
