Nokta Impact Target ID Depth

I bought myself a new Impact and want to understand if there is any advantage to changing the Target ID Depth. The default setting is intermediate, in what situations would you change to the high and low setting?

It depends on what you hope to accomplish. If your goal for the day is to cherry pick a trashy park then you want the most accurate Target ID you can get. Low is the most accurate setting for this situation. On the other hand, if you are in an area where you will be looking for deeper targets and you expect to be digging trash but want some target ID capability, then Set it to High and expect more jumpy numbers.
