If the cost doesn't scare you off, the Garrett AT Pro is a terrific all terrain detector. Especially nice if you want to check out streams, lakes, or shorelines. Get the Garrett Pro Pointer AT in a combo set off Amazon and you'll be good to go for a long time. Just my 2 cents! Welcome to our community!

Welcome to the forum from Virginia! Check out all the features of the detectors you may be interested in for comparison. Look to see if any of the sellers might be running a special.
