New to the area but anxious about doing some panning.. I've noticed a lot of people mention callard or Caldwell creek. However I was wondering if anyone has had the chance to get way north of Wynoochee dam and try doing some panning sluicing up there?? There looks to be some very nice creeks up there... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Grays Harbor in Washington state
Detector(s) used
Whites Spectrum XLT with about 1/4" of dust on it and can't even remember how t turn it on?!?!?
Primary Interest:
Prospecting
Been up there prospecting a few times. Found nothing but a couple tiny
flakes. Don't know where the creek is you mentioned but I tried every one I came across above and below the dam and all the way to the upper Satsops.

When I begin, I'm going to start about 12 miles north of the wynoochee dam, following that forest rd going north south on east side of lake... Takes you all the way into the mountains towards Klone lakes and mt Hoquiam
