Hiking is my game and olive oil my trade. I was hoping to make metal detecting an additional hobby but, after happening upon an old thread re laws in Greece, can see it's not worth investing in a metal detector. I fully understand the government's reasoning but was under the misconception that, like in other countries, one shares the spoils. Lesson learned

Hi. Thank you for welcome. I'll follow up on your suggestion and hopefully strike lucky. I do note that most finds are with good metal detectors.... I'll need to put out feelers in that direction but honestly, at this moment in time, am unwilling to share location
