I might not need a detector to pick up meteorite there or would that just be a meteor?
 

Well done..even with the chromatic aberration (all the blue) it's
still a nice shot. :occasion14:

The Moon is the one celestial object that you don't need a tracking
mount in order to image. I usually take Moon pics at ISO 200
(or 400) and anywhere from 1/500th to 1/1000 of a second
shutter speed. The Moon is a seriously bright target..moose.gif

You could probably eyeball find bucket fulls...getting them all home
might be an issue, however..:occasion14:

The Nikon P900 actually has a dedicated setting just for moon shots.
