Not buying anymore peanut butter for the critters..

Midwinter it cost me 8.58 for two pounds,it lasted about a week and a half,spring came and it lasted a week,this one was put out yesterday,I couldn't believe how much this young one ate,he was eating for at least 10 minutes or longer,Back to 20 lb. bags of raw peanuts.

Had a 12 pack of them at the feeder all winter.
Entertaining come spring heat, chasing each other, or done mating mate.

My wife buys this powdered stuff. You mix it with water and it pretty much comes out like spreadable peanut butter. It goes a long ways in stretching your budget.

I don't put out anything for the neighborhood squirrels. Lots of neigbors feed them nut. Squirrels bury the nuts in my backyard then can't find them. My dog goes out, finds the nuts, cracks them open and eats them. Do ya think I save on dog food? :laughing7:

I'm not a fan of squirrels. But I do like birds and try to help them through the cold months. We had squirrels eat through our shingles and caused a lot of damage.
