Checked the reject slot and zilch. Saw some change laying on the little shelf at the right end, four or five nasty Zincolns, a pull tab and this. Made shopping with the bride a little more tolerable!

Welll.... that MAY be a "bummer" find.

I think that WAS a copper steel.

Unless that is just crud.

The copper plated steels are worth a few bucks if I remember correctly.

Steelies are fun finds. And any recovery in the open feels like a gift. I found a Merc once on the shelf, mixed in with a few foreign coins.

Some (not all) Coinstars have a small green tray under the slot where the cash voucher appears. This is another good place to check.
