I can’t even imagine it being that cold, what do you do!!

Your weather is going to drift down into my area. Thanks Bud!! :laughing7:

Now thats cold… (even if i don’t fully understand the conversion to our temps) … time for hibernation mode to be activated 😆 xx 🤗

Wow, stay out of the wind. We've had 30 and 40 below temps in the past but not in awhile. Seems to only get down in the teens below these days. Wind chill isn't much of a factor right here where I live in a valley with mountains blocking it. If we did have wind at 40 below I guess we'd all be popsicles.

About -15F tonight but above freezing for the weekend. I could hang out at the rail yard as long as i brought long and dry corncobs, 2 holer outside so about a 5 gallon bucket a cobs a week. Office was an old wood railcar with oil burner for heat, wood swivel chairs, crazy old communication apparatus that clicked and clacked, and plenty of cigar smoke.

Just dress like an onion.
Layers, upon layers.
Little fact more folks perish from the heat than the 🥶 🧊 ☃️.

Grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota where they hold their Winter Carvival this time of the year. Always way below zero! I think they were celebrating the fact that you could actually go outside and not get attacked by mosquitos!

Anyway, some genius on our summer softball team contacts everybody and says we should enter the Winter Carnival Softball tournament held on ice. It's 25 below zero that Saturday morning and we lose our first game. It's double elimination, so halfway through our second game that afternoon, we find out that if we win this game, we have to come back Sunday morning for an 8 AM game and the temp will be 45 below!

That was the only game we ever threw... just couldn't seem to score many runs!

This guy doesn't care about the cold or snow.
