Not many great finds but a great day being out anyway. A V nickle and clad were the only coins. We're curious of the thing on the right of the key. We've found 2 here. Some kind of match striker lid? Anyone know? Hope you all have a good week!

Congrats on the relics & coins. I would call a V nickel a good day!!! Only V nickel I ever dug only thing legible is the V.

This one looked completely blank out of the ground. After a few hours you could make out a little. We put it in peroxide for a little bit and was nice enough to get a date! I was surprised!

That thing is made of the most crumbly metal I have ever seen! I'm surprised there was that much left of it!

A great day is any day detecting! Especially when you find a nice coin and a moose!!! I'm pretty sure your right it being a match holder lid.
