well something is better than nothing, and remember what you're doing is not always or ever easy. Otherwise, everybody and their Aunt and Uncle would be out doing it. Nice finds! :)

I think it's a tough call with so many possibilities..a lot of use wear is probably worn away by the water if it was there.
In terms of survival use that could be hafted the way it is and used to do things like breaking up bone or even pulverizing different plant material to separate fibers for making cordage... I know my area like the back of my hand not sure what the not so obvious specific needs might have been in your area.
