hollowpointed, Great finds.
Is that Spanish 1/2 Reale you found the same size as a US quarter? And what is on the edges, or is it smooth?

nice coins just wish the ground wouldve left most of the coin there for you. keep on digging...

hey allen! yeah i know. the soil around here is hell on copper.and then on top of it, it was found beside a creek bed.i think the minerals in the creek water really took its toll over the past 200 years.in person it is a little easier to tell that it is a connecticut copper.the overstrike is the most pronounced thing on it. you should have seen it when i found it!this picture is after months of soaking and cleaning!i still would love to know if it is worth anything even in its condition. or even what it would have been worth.i guess i need to find a good colonial coin expert. one of these days i may take it to a coin show and see what kinda opinions i get.in the mean time i guess i should be planning a return trip to where i found it. maybe there is some colonial silver lurking somewhere! ::)

All those find's are something "I" don't have ,Great job hollow.I have some front row ticket's to Dover in Sept.,if you want maybe we can hook up.Thank's for sharing.Good luck in the futture!!!
