Hi All,

Had a chance to get out in the woods for a few hours this afternoon. I managed to uncover a 1952 Washington, three wheaties, assorted clad, and a neat key. However, the "find" of the day was a Copperhead snake! It was about three feet long, and kind'a pissed off. I have never seen one of these in the wild, and apparently they are quite rare in Massachusetts. Glad I didn't step on him... HH.

Nice railroad key! Those are much more rare than the locks are--since one key opened all the locks on a particular line.

Cheers,

Buck

For fellow digger, "Obsessive", the key was stamped with the words, " Fitch and Son". I'm in the process of researching that company name, but no luck so far. HH
