Not the prettiest finds but finally got that silver dime jinx of my back

Me and a friend woke up early before the rain was coming a I managed to get that silver dime that’s been eluding me. In the mini spill was a buffalo and when I rechecked the hole I got a 1919 Mercury Dime also got a wheat and cool peace of something.

Meanwhile my friend with his F75 was having problems so he would ask me to come check his hole with my 800. Needless to say his target was showing trash on mine, but when I went behind him I waved my coil under his butt and say,” But there’s a nickel there for you.” Needless to say say it was a nickel a 1887 V nickel!!! I be lying if I didn’t have a WTF moment. He also found a machete. That WOULD have been my oldest V. I’ll be back lol

P.S. He did look at me like A BOSS

That a corn knife. Used walking corn fields cutting out rogue plants. They always have that square end for some reason. Your 800 is a real nickel finder. Gary
